Dr. April Heiselt
Dr. Heiselt came to Mississippi State via the University of Utah, home of one of the leading service-learning centers in the nation. Heiselt brings her
extensive knowledge of service-learning to the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Special Education, where she works as an assistant professor.
Her area of emphasis is in the field of student affairs, where she researches issues surrounding student learning, student governance and student leadership. She has
presented her research in a variety of national conferences and in peer-reviewed journal publications.
