Together...

Students

Living, learning and leading is brought together with the Day One Leadership Forum, a weekly one-hour lecture taken by all Day One students and delivered by a select group of Grisham Master Teachers. Forum content focuses on leadership development, character education, and cultivating an understanding of social and civic responsibilities. This instruction is reinforced with weekly one-hour meetings involving the action team mentor. This unprecedented level of individualized instruction links Forum content with the imminent leadership challenges experienced at the individual, group, or community level.

Do right. Do good. Do well.

The Day One Leadership Community is just one of many initiatives within the MSU Leadership Continuum. Students that complete the semester long program may elect to pursue a Leadership Studies Minor that will complement any of the 100-plus academic majors on campus. Students are also encouraged to compete for membership in the Sonny Montgomery Chapter of the newly established Appalachian Leadership Honors Program.

Do right. Do good. Do well.
